It is like asking whether do you treat this as a hobby or a business.
Well, I do not mean to be harsh to anybody. It’s just that having FREE shows a lot from a character. Understand that some of them could not afford the paid wordpress blog or commonly self-hosted blog but if one is serious about their business, they will want to get themselves a yearly hosting account, a domain name and setting up a blog.
Now back to what I say just now “having FREE shows a lot from a character”. I’m not totally against using free wordpress blog, but in network marketing, we are in direct sales and in direct sales means you have to brand yourself no matter what. You can only make sales by making people love, trust and like you. Not the other way round.
Having said that, what will other people perceive you as? Have you been or come to a site that is set up on blogspot or free wordpress selling warez, now, back up a bit and think about what does this site portray to you.
Now compare to a paid site that has their photos, contact and video of themselves talking, what does that site portray to you now?
Which site do you want to do business with? The answer is obvious.
Another important thing why it is better to have your blog hosted rather than getting the free one is, you have total control of your content and your blog. If you are blog is hosted on the free platform, you have to play by their rules.

Imagine that if you work hard to brand yourself and have the above message one day, your hardwork will go to waste.
So, if you are serious in building this business, go buy yourself a new domain and hosting. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain.
